One of EPBN's well attended advocacy forum was focused on facilitating discussions in developing the Philippines into a top rating international tourism destination and determine how European players can become part of that process. The Tourism Advocacy Forum was held last 06 April 2016 at the Makati Shangri-la and was attended by industry players and government representatives. Participants were welcomed by EU Ambassador Franz Jessen and ECCP President Guenter Taus at the the said forum followed by presentations from Director Cynthia C. Lazo, Head - Medical Tourism, Market Development Group and Atty. Guiller B. Asido, Chief Operating Officer of TIEZA. Presentations on the Tourism Market were done by Adam Laker, General Manager of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, and Ludwig Rieder, Chairperson and Co-founder of Asia Pacific Projects, Inc.
